Greetings, and welcome to Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church, affectionately known as The Ship! I am Pastor C.M. Turner, and it is a joy to have you visit our online home. Here at The Ship, our mission is to share God’s love, grow in faith, and build a community rooted in compassion and service. Our motto is "Where we Sync, Serve, and Send all to the glory of Him!" Radical Reach: Serve Opportunity- Loads of Love
Help us lighten the load for families in our community!
Throughout June, we are collecting detergent pods and quarters for our Loads of Love donation drive. These simple items can make a big difference for individuals and families who rely on local laundromats.
There are three ways to get involved:
GIVE – Donate detergent pods or rolls of quarters.
SERVE – Volunteer to help package donations on Wednesday, July 1, at 6:00 PM.
REACH – Join us as we distribute Loads of Love to local laundromats immediately following service on Sunday, July 5.
Volunteer with the ship and impact the community
Do you need volunteer hours? Are you looking to make an impact every week? Help the mission to serve the community with our Food Pantry ministry every Tuesday from 9:30-3:00 pm. For more information, contact the church at 972-329-5030!

Two Becoming One: Radical Love – Building a Christ-Centered Marriage
Join us on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a day of encouragement, fellowship, and practical biblical teaching designed to strengthen marriages.
Doors open at 7:30 AM for breakfast.
Registration is $50 per couple and includes conference sessions, breakout sessions, breakfast, and conference materials.
