Greetings, and welcome to Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church, affectionately known as The Ship! I am Pastor C.M. Turner, and it is a joy to have you visit our online home. Here at The Ship, our mission is to share God’s love, grow in faith, and build a community rooted in compassion and service. Our motto is "Where we Sync, Serve, and Send all to the glory of Him!" MISD Back to school Fair
Join The Ship as we serve families at the Mesquite ISD Back to School Fair! Volunteers will help welcome families, distribute supplies, and support students as they prepare for the new school year.

Canvass The Community- Forney Edition
Sunday, July 26: Join us as we take the love of Christ into the neighborhoods of Forney, TX! We'll distribute invitation cards, pray for families, and personally invite our neighbors to experience what God is doing at The Ship.
Registration is required to be assigned a volunteer zone. Meet us at 3:00 PM for prayer, instructions, and team assignments before we head out.
Together, let's share hope and make an impact one neighborhood, one home, and one invitation at a time.

Do you need volunteer hours? Are you looking to make an impact every week? Help the mission to serve the community with our Food Pantry ministry every Tuesday from 9:30-3:00 pm. For more information, contact the church at 972-329-5030!

Two Becoming One: Radical Love – Building a Christ-Centered Marriage
Join us on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM for a day of encouragement, fellowship, and practical biblical teaching designed to strengthen marriages.
Doors open at 7:30 AM for breakfast.
Registration is $50 per couple and includes conference sessions, breakout sessions, breakfast, and conference materials.
