At Mesquite Friendship Baptist Church, our Youth praise and admire God for who He is and what He does.  Praise can be quiet and meditative but it can also include celebrating, dancing and exulting in the Lord's majesty and splendor.  "For everything there is a season" Eccl 3:1  "There is even a time to Dance" Eccl 3:4.  Our King James Holy Bible defines Dance as to move merrily.  As people have done from the beginning in order to communicate with God.  In acknowledgment of God's triumphs, our joys, and even our sorrows.  Dance has been another avenue that we use for worship and praise.

MISSION:   The mission of the Sacred Dance Ministry is to assist delivering God's word to the saved and unsaved.  We will dance in praise and thanksgiving utilizing artistic movements, scriptures, songs, and the commitment of our hearts to share the Gospel of God's word.  We commit ourselves to the faithful stewards by serving, leading and learning; thus, becoming disciplined disciples.
